A Heart for Thailand: A Light for Muslims
Want to shine a light for Muslims in Thailand?
Help us fund eight new Muslim Discipleship Groups, bringing spiritual transformation to unreached communities in Jesus’ name.
Our Transformational Method
For decades, Muslim missions have mimicked what has worked well with other cultures, but what we’ve found is that this often results in translated materials that Muslims won’t use and methods that don’t result in transformation.
Instead, we’ve developed a different method to create lasting impact in Muslim communities. Our secret: Trust.
Effective Muslim outreach begins with building a relationship. By building trust horizontally within communities, we unlock deep, lasting transformation that traditional methods can’t reach.
That’s why our strategy is to create Muslim Discipleship Groups, to develop emotionally mature leaders from within the Muslim community, and to translate Scripture using culturally resonant storytelling that points to Jesus.
And it’s working! Our Muslim Discipleship Groups are active in over 25 language communities and we’ve seen real spiritual growth as a result. By 2026, we want to add eight new groups in Thailand because we believe Muslims there need the light of experiencing God’s kingdom family.
Muslims in Thailand
Muslims in Thailand make up 5-6% of the population in Thailand (about 4-5 million people), with a higher population concentration in the Southern provinces and in urban areas like the nation’s capital Bangkok.
Thai Muslims observe Ramadan, celebrate Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, and many participate in the Hajj and Umrah.
Conversions to other religions like Christianity are rare, as Islamic faith is closely tied to cultural identity, especially in the south.
Will you join us in our mission to launch eight new Muslim Discipleship Groups by 2026?
Every gift makes a huge impact! This Christmas, shine a light on Thai Muslims all across the country!
