Our Story

Two decades of discovering how trust changes everything.

2003 – Our Beginning

It all started with a handful of seeds and a heart for relationships.

In 2003, ten individuals came together to fund a small agricultural effort in Central Asia. Their goal was simple: serve people, meet tangible needs, and build bridges of friendship.

As they worked side by side with local communities, something deeper began to grow. Through shared life and genuine relationships, trust took root—and with it, the first signs of spiritual transformation.

2006– Translation, Building Foundations

Making the words of Jesus accessible in every heart language.

Over 20 years of ministry, we learned that access alone isn’t transformation.

By 2006, trust had opened new doors. Our team began focusing on Scripture translation, ensuring people could encounter the words and ways of Jesus in their own language.

Over the next decade, Engaging Worlds became qualified to review, approve, and train translators—helping bring Scripture to life in 18 languages across the Muslim world.

Present – The Trust Breakthrough

Translation opened the door—but trust is what invites people to walk through it.

Today, Engaging Worlds focuses on trust-based discipleship movements, where small, relational groups explore Scripture together, grow in faith, and multiply organically through existing cultural networks.

Through our GLS strategy—Group Discipleship, Leadership Development, and Scripture Translation—we’re igniting sustainable Kingdom breakthrough in Muslim communities around the world.

What began with ten people and a field has become a global movement of trust.

Twenty years later, Engaging Worlds continues to cultivate what God planted—authentic relationships that create space for the Gospel to take root and flourish.

As we look to the future, our vision is clear: To see Kingdom breakthrough multiplied through trust, relationship, and the power of God’s Word.
